    Worship: It's all about knowing and living the story of God. The most difficult part of youth ministry is knowing what to do next. When we lose sight of the BIG PICTURE we find ourselves directionally challenged. We seek direction from programs, curriculums or "successful" youth ministries. Every Youth Ministry needs a compass. A compass that guides both youth workers and their students into the ongoing story of God and His people. In one day, Worship Centered Youth Ministry offers a fresh approach to post-modern youth ministry. Youth workers; professional, volunteer and student leaders will come away challenged and refreshed.
    Our presenter and trainer is Mark Holcomb. Mark served as a local church youth pastor for 25 years. Since the fall of 2004 he has served as Professor of Christian Education @ Olivet Nazarene University and as the Regional Youth Ministry Coordinator. He loves speaking at camps, investing in the next generation of youth pastors, and mentoring youth workers. He is the husband of Terry, father of Kristin and Kelli, and proud grandpa of Brayden.

    Our Trainer is Jerry Storz from Centennial, Colorado. As Program Director for International Network of Children's Ministries, he created, wrote, and edited 1 Day Children's Ministry Seminars. Jerry has been a trainer for/with:

  • Kidzmatter Ministries
  • Kidz at Heart International


    • Jerry loves introducing kids to his greatest friend - Jesus. he loves putting a smile on their face.

    Jerry is a graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University (BA, Christian Education) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA Christian Education). He has served on staff in local churches in Kansas, Missouri, and Texas. He and his wife of 26 years live together in Centennial, Colorado.
